Alarms
GOtrack AutoDrive has possibility to send alarms to the device which is indicated in the menu or has access to the GOtrack App.
There are two communication channels available:
- SMS (text messages),
- push notifications.
Text messages are free of charge. GOtrack App and services available in the app are paid. Check the price list which plan is suitable for you.
Alarms are fully configurable in the menu GPS > GOTRACK GPS > ALARMS. The list of cofigurable alarms is shown on the screenshot below.
User can enable/disable every alarm type depending on his needs.
DISTANCE ALARM
This alarm is sent when safe distance is exceeded.
SPEED ALARM
This alarm is send when system cannot reach demanded speed. This alarm refers to speed deviation settings in safety menu. Possible reasons of this alarm are:
- wrong gear selected,
- muddy terrain,
- low fuel.
BUMPER ALARM
Bumper alarm is sent whenever bumper is pressed when tracotr is driving autonomously.
LIDAR ALARM
Lidar alarm is sent when obstacle is detected by the lidar sensor. To avoid sending many messages when obstacle is recoginzed many times SMS delay is introduced. When alarm cancellation is active another text message will be sent if obstacle will disappear.
In this case SMS will be sent after 10 seconds if the obstacle is still detected.
RTK ALARM
When GNSS receiver mode looses RTK status (low sattelite signal, antenna under canopy or under trees), No RTK alarm will be sent.
When RTK status is lost it is usually recoevered after a while. That is why message delay is available so in case RTK is lost only for few seconds no message will be sent to the operator. When RTK status is recovered system will resume driving the vehicle.
If alarm cancellation is active then separate message is sent.
RTK PRECISION ALARM
RTK precision alarm is sent when GNSS precision drops below the value which was set in safety menu.
When low precision is detected it is usually recoevered after a while. That is why message delay is available so in case precision is lost only for few seconds no message will be sent to the operator. When precision is recovered system will resume driving the vehicle.
If alarm cancellation is active then separate message is sent.
GOTRACK ALARM
In case of communication problems between GOtrack computer and MCU alarm message will be sent.
Message delay is possible to set.
When no errors are reported anymore separate message can be sent.
DRIVING STATUS ALARM
System is monitoring whether vehicle has started after system let it driving. If tractor has not started after sending START command this message will be sent.
Possible reasons of this alarm:
- no gear selected (TMS not turned off in Fendt tractor),
- engine is off,
- too low engine RPM which cause engine chocke,
- to high gear which cause engine chocke,
END OF ROUTE ALARM
When the veicle is approaching the end of the route computer will inform about it by text message.
Two messages are possible. First one is sent over the set distance before the end of the route and second one when vehicle will reach the end of the route.
Distance for the message before the end of the route is adjustable. By default it is set to 0,5 km.
INTERNET ALARM
When there is no internet but still computer’s modem is regitered to the netowork computer can send alarm message regarding no internet connection.
Since internet connection can be down for short time SMS delay time is possible.
DEVICE RESTART ALARM
If computer will restart by itself because of voltage drop, bad power connection or CPU overload text message will be sent when system will restart.
When computer is restarted during autonomous operation vehicle will be stopped. After computer restart system will not resume autonomous driving. Route and map has to be selected again by the operator.
