Network requirements

For the reference station to work properly, user must provide the device with Internet access. There are 3 ways to provide Internet access:

VIA AN ETHERNET NETWORK CABLE

One way to provide the Internet to the device is to connect the reference station to the router with an Ethernet cable. Remember to properly configure the router in the local network – redirect the appropriate ports to the local IP address of the reference station in the local network. You should also remember to set the appropriate IP address of the device in the local network in accordance with the settings of the router and the default gateway.

VIA WiFi NETWORK

Internet can also be delivered to the device via WiFi. Then, in the device configuration menu, indicate the WiFi network to which the device will connect and enter the network password. You should also remember to establish an appropriate permanent IP address of the device in the local network when using base station in INDIVIDUAL MODE. After the device is properly configured, the router should be properly configured in the local network.

VIA LTE MODEM

The reference station has a built-in 4G LTE modem. If the user cannot provide the Internet to the device via Ethernet cable or WiFi network, a SIM card should be inserted into the device. After the device is properly configured, the Internet will be provided over the cellular network.

The NTRIP server port number, i.e. the port on which RTK corrections are available, can be changed by the user in the configuration menu. You should then change the settings of the network router accordingly.
