Revs controlling – Fendt Vario

Auto Drive system installed on Fendt Vario gen2, gen2 S3 or gen3 is controling tractor’s RPM by recalling RPM memory. Before driving autonomously with implement RPM must be stored in tractor’s memory

Options for RPM control in Fendt tractors are:

  • Automatic – TMS
  • Turn on while driving

When Automatic – TMS selected AutoDrive system does not control RPM level. It is done automatically by the tractor controler. In this mode tractor has to be set to joystick speed control (not acceleration pedal).

When Turn on while driving is selected RPM AutoDrive recalls RPM level from the tractor’s memory. In Fendt gen3 it is memory 1. RPM level is recalled only when tractor is driving. When tractor stops RPM level goes to idle.
